You are right. Komfo Anokye is from Awukugua. Anokye is a Kyerepog name meaning "Anor look" He was assigned Agona as his home town when he left Denkyira during Ansah Sasraku's era to visit Nana Osei Tutu of the Ashanti. Anokye's father was Agya Anor and Mother was Maame Kubi. Komfo Anokye was originally called Kwame Frimpong. Anokye is a pure Guan to put the records straight but neither Akan nor Ewe.

There are some Anlo clans that lived in Anlo before those who migrated from Togo arrived.
Thus, Togbui Tsali never migrated from Togo, if there is a case it will be his grandfather that migrated from Togo.
The fact also remains that the Anlo dialect was spoken by Anlos in the Eshime and the coast before those who migrated from Togo arrived.
