It would be suicidal relocating to Ghana after say 30 years abroad. The culture shock alone will shorten one’s life. Bribery everywhere. In one’s twilight years, when one needs medical attention most frequently, the hospital there and the attitude of the medical staff alone will cut short one’s life. Why bother? Better to stay and die in a horrible nursing home in the USA, than go and die prematurely in a country where nothing works. All state institutions are corrupted. Family members are the ones that will kill you quick for the little you have. My brother went to settle in what he thought was home, only to be murdered and burnt and charred. Wicked people who will discharge an elderly patient from a hospital ward and dump her in a bush to die. A whole medical administrator taking responsibility for this evil act, and was not imprisoned. Shame on all who overlooked this wicked act. Your reward is the LAKE OF FIRE, SULFUR AND BRIME STONES.

The Police will always refer to the law that makes it mandatory for an autopsy to be conducted and demand for one before clearance is given for burial. Meanwhile, the law fails to state who should bear that expense. In other jurisdictions, if the family requests an autopsy, then they pay for it. In Ghana, because the family shows desperation in getting their kinsman for burial, they are forced to pick up the bill.

Of course there should be an autopsy on a murder victim by the police at no cost to the beareaved family who are already so distressed by such a heinous crime against them. What a cruel thing to ask a grieving family to pay.

Unfortunately, i was not even having money on me to be given to them for i was out of my self. Corruption in Ghana Police is beyond repairs.

Nkwakwa police station is well noted for soliciting bribes, I had an experience in 1999 when I had a car wreck and I went there for accident report, the officer in charge at that time told us that if we don’t pay something his boss will not sign it because he has a lot of reports there, I told them that I won’t pay anything and I don’t care if it will take 20 years to sign it. I never paid anything and went back to Kumasi. I called them two weeks later to inform them that I was going to report to the police headquarters. The officer stated even IGP knows everything. The following morning I received a call that my report was ready for pick up. These police officers are immune to bribery and nothing will change them. Come to America to do those sh——ts and you will see
