For premium, Nigerians pay the equivalent of about GH₵208.10/month. For a 7.5% tax this works to a basic of GH₵193.58/month. Applying 28% in taxes on that amount will give only GH₵247.78. This is less than one third of the ₵865.00 that Ghanaians are being over charged for the same service. Come again Mr MP of Abirem, Charles Owiredu. We await explanation.
