For eight long years, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has ruled Ghana — not with the people, but with his family, friends, and close allies. What began as a promise of transformation and prosperity has turned into disappointment for many who once believed in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its message of change.

Under Akufo-Addo’s administration, loyalty and personal connection became more valuable than competence and intelligence. The truth about why Chairman Wuntumi continues to be harassed by the Mahama Brothers is that , Ibrahim Mahama personally has a score to settle with Chairman Wuntumi dating back to ex President Kuffour's era where Ibrahim Mahama sued Wuntumi on numerous occasions for defamation in court. Wuntumi was then represented by Egbert Faible and In all those suits, nothing came out of it. So the Mahama Brothers now think that once they have power, they have to show chairman Wuntumi where that power lies hence his continuous harassment. After all, Wuntumi is not the only miner in Ghana who has destroyed water bodies or even without license so why constant harassment?
