  @Game Changer, that is not quite true - those of us who stood behind him when the going got tough are the ones who are celebrating his leadership now - maybe a few critics have changed their minds about him. But overwhelming majority of his critics are now ashamed to even come out and comment about him. Maybe they are even hurting that he has done so well to get us (the Black Stars) this far. Truth be told, I don't remember any Black Stars captain being so instrumental in any tournament or qualifying journey like Jordan Ayew has been in this world cup qualifiers - he almost singlehandedly sent us to this world cup (2026). God Almighty bless Jordan and his entire Ayew family

  True. To find a BS captain as influential as Jordan, one has to go all the way back to Aggrey Fynn in the 1960s and Opoku Afriyie in the 70/80s.

  Quit the nonsense. The Black Stars has had pretty good captains for each era - Abedi Pele, CK Akunnor, Stephen Appiah, Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew Pele, and Jordan Ayew... among others.

  Only issue has been the unnatural hatred that some Ghanaians have had for Abedi and his kids. This family has contributed a lot to Ghana soccer and deserve to be awarded and celebrated - not vilified.
