  This same curtesies were never paid or extended to the kids who died in a road accident in Konongo. Blatantly, this NDC government hates Ashantis. They make it so blatant.

  This reactionary measure from government is unnecessary. If government had taken proactive measures, these poor children would have been alive today. It is the responsibility of government to ensure that nobody travels in a canoe on any lake or river in Ghana without a life jacket. The government must have put men on the ground 24/7 to enforce this to ensure the safety of the people. Until the government wakes up to it's responsibility, that may occur again sooner or later.
  The money the government intends to spend on the funeral should be used to buy life jackets instead for those who are still alive who will continue to travel on the water without life jackets.

  Life vests are cheap to procure by these boat owners so why is there no enforcement by the government? Only to go and bury the dead?? Bridges are expensive to build so if they can't be done now at least life vests are cheap to aquire and should be made mandatory for all boat passengers to wear.
