Benin took bribes from Nigeria in yesterday's game thinking South Africa would lose or draw for Nigeria to go through automatically. When that did not happen, they knew they needed 4 goals to qualify for the playoffs and that is exactly what Benin gave them. Cameroon, Gabon and Congo DR players and officials have nothing to fear from a serious leader. They can easily accept bribes from Nigeria without consequences from any quarters! Burkina Faso should have qualified with their raw points. All counties should qualify with their raw points. It is not reasonable to deduct points for any reason in football other than the team losing or committing an offense ...

It is not reasonable to deduct points for any reason in football other than the team losing or committing an offense (like in the case if South Africa fielding an ineligible player). If CAF wants us to believe that all the countries ended up in their respective groups by a LUCK of the draw. Then if a country ends up in a group where a team forfeits by their own decision, should that not be counted towards all the countries in that group as luck? The grounds for deducting fair points and calling it Fair Play is faulty. This has to be corrected.

How would you explain that someone gets 21 points in his group and another gets 17 points in his group for the one that had 17 points to be a better placed second team.

The two are not even on the same pedestal for them to be compared.

Why compare 21 points with 17 points

That points against bottom placed teams are for tie breaker

That is when two countries have the same points so how come CAF will apply a tie breaker rules when Nigeria and Burkina Faso aren’t on the same points.

Africa will always be in shambles and no wonder we don’t perform any better at the world stage

Nigeria should NOT qualify at all at the expense of Burkina Faso. Why am I saying that. How can we play equal number of matches and the team with the highest number of points not qualify? This is fraud.
The initial 4 best runners up should first be selected from all the groups which played 10 matches before fifa can use his so called Method to determine the 4 best final teams between the Eritrea group ie group E and the initial 4 best runners up from the teams that played all the 10 matches.
B Faso should protest ASAP. Nigeria should not qualify at all.
This is fraud at it best from fifa and caf.
