  Why do you encourage diasporians to return to Ghana and contribute to the progress of the nation when those living in the country are not ready for a change. Most of times , suggestions by diasporians are met with the response that this is how it is done in the country and you can take your suggestions back to where you came from. The slogan that says if you cannot beat them , join them fits the Ghanaian mentality. Ghanaians have an entrenched retrogressive work ethic that it is difficult to break that cycle.
