  Really , l don't find anything wrong with these two authentic beautiful Kente cloth which the Speaker has appealed to Otumfuo for their replacement.
  It's about time we Ghanaians learn to appreciate old artifacts of significant value and importance.
  I'm sure that when Otumfuo donated these two fine Kente clothes years ago to Parliament , he was thinking that they would be exhibited in the House in perpetuity but not to be replaced periodically.
  I will draw the attention of the Speaker to the fact that some of our eminent traditional Chiefs have been seen wearing Kente clothing made over a hundred years old and more , in public to project and showcase our rich culture and heritage .
  The Speaker should therefore take a cue from our traditional leaders and learn to preserve relatively old stuff for posterity and future generations.
  I will beg the Otumfuo to politely reject the Speaker's request for the replacement of the Kente cloth.

Shame on whoever sent the delegation for a replacement. If they feel it doesnt suit the new deco of parliament then most of them in parliament need to replace their brains too before talking about kente. The delegation who accepted to go ask otumfuo arr an embarassment. Seriously?
