If anything at all, I will blame the Bimpongmaa and the Akosua Serwaa for the brouhaha surrounding icon's post death squabbling. They have not been dignified in the whole matter. They should never have gone public with the supposed squabbling. They should have used prominent people in the society to solve any misunderstanding. What is Manhyia there for? The moment they went public gave the platform to even nonentities to ignorantly comment on the supposed squabbling. Daddy Lumba died in hospital and that is where they should have gone for the autopsy report and to suggest that the funeral committee is driven by money is way below the belt.

It is during the preparation for funerals that the worst traits of human nature are often on display- STRIFE, GREED, COVETOUSNESS, JEALOUSY, SELFISHNESS, DISHONESTY AND SCAMS.
I have known situations where relatives of the deceased have scammed well-wishers, friends and even blood relatives to get their hands on money or assets.
Very few people have the integrity of heart that allows them to conduct these funeral preparations honestly and transparently. For most others it is an opportunity to siphon off vast sums of money for themselves through fictitious or exaggerated expenses and invoicing. How can people who defraud others on these occasions of great sadness, sorrow and mourning ever expect to be blessed? They will lose what they have stolen in diverse other ways sooner or later, or as one friend of mind used to say, "all that they have stolen will turn into gravel in their mouths".
