Why do l say this about Prof Ahwoi. I was a young boy in those days of the revolution and had an opportunity to attend some of his tribunal sittings in Obuasi when those kangaroo courts were formed. They lined up mainly gold dealers before him and were to explain how they came by their wealth. If your explanations don't add up all your properties are confiscated and you are handed jail terms in the region of 20 years and above. If l remember very well l think you are not even allowed a counsel you face the tribunal yourself (my observation about the use of a Counsel l stand corrected). I would have thought with this background Prof Ahwoi would have rather questioned what the Attorney General has done by withdrawing the Atos Forson case from court since we all know that what was bought were not ambulances and Richard Jakpa had requested that he and his partners were prepared to refund some monies to the state. to the NDC Richard Jakpa and Ato Forson are now heroes in this matter. We live to see.
