Kojo, I don’t like the Death Sentence but in some cases, they have to be used. Ghanaians and foreigners from West Africa, particularly Nigeria are making Ghana a horrible place to live. Yes, the Death Sentence has to be revisited. Even in Uncle Sam’s country, some states like Texas, Alabama and California still use the Death Sentence. Yes, it makes some criminals think twice before murdering people. Bring back the Death Sentence and vigorously enforce it. Many Ghanaians will think before committing some crimes and Zoologerian criminals will not make Ghana their Heaven. Zoogerians can commit any crime you can think of because they know Ghana has no Death Sentence. Why don’t we go the Busia way that Nigerians must go.
Next make it a Felony with long Prison Sentences for people who employ Zoogerians or rent them places.
Our Soldiers have no real jobs to do so why can’t they be allowed to patrol with the Police at night and arrest People, especially foreigners like Nigerians who sleep in front of stores and kiosks. Let us make Ghana uncomfortable for them. Yes, reward informants who tell about the hiding places of Nigerians and their various activities. If care is not taken, these Nigerians will finally make Ghana like Nigeria. A very and horrible place to live.
