This Speaker is not serious at all. Is our Parliament the only one in the world? Why cant we just follow the process of other sensible countries? So what do the MPs do when Parliament goes on recess?

This Speaker is not in touch with the realities on the ground. He doesn't see the poverty around him.I will one of these days gather and send some Kayayeis in Madina Mkt to his gated residence at Kuottam Empire, Oyarifa-Teima ...

Mr. Bagbin. You said yesterday that Asantehene's advice is responsible for the "success" of your tenure. Any respect I had for you went out of the window.

And you have the nerve to say another foolish thing today. MPs need ...

Mr. Speaker, we all know parliament goes on recess (break) which gives MPs some kind of relief so what are you talking about?

  • H. T. K. 1 month ago

With due respect Mr. Speaker, this suggestion cannot bind. Teachers do not get annual leave because they don't teach all the time, likewise MPs cannot get it because they don't sit all the time. There are some MPs who do not ...

Exactly what he wants to say. Earlier he was asking for new chamber. These days our speaker is becoming insensitive and wicked or it's got to do with old age?

It surprises me anytime I hear such suggestions from no other person like Alban Bagbin, a Northerner. I would have excused him if he was a Ga from Osu or Fanti from Cape Coast. Someone from poverty endemic region like the No ...

No, no, they should and must take their leave from when they are on recess. Ghanaians don't even take leave to go and rest; they even work more than their normal work schedule.

Mr speaker is getting power drunk. Where in the world do MPs ask for extra holidays. Your recess is classified as leave or holiday. Another way of trying to loot the public. Shame on you mr speaker

Lie!!! It doesn’t happen all over the word; not in the UK or US. They go on recess, as is done here in Ghana. You want to go on recess and get annual leave on top? Then, let teachers have the same.

The man is tired. Instead of him to honorably retire and allow a more energetic person to continue, he is now seeking for opportunities not to go to wrk.
