There are some MPs who do not even appear on the floor of parliament for almost an entire year with the excuse that they are always with their constituents. I remember quite well that because of this issue, a register was provided some time back to check absenteeism amongst MPs, and you suggest that they still need annual leaves?

Also they are allowed to take time off to attend some occupancy such as sick, funerals, maternity etc but it's lot an entitled or statutory leave.
