It is disheartening to see efforts to legitimize illegal activities. I struggle to understand how some local authorities can stand by as unauthorized structures are constructed. Corruption plays a role, with certain government employees accepting bribes and turning a blind eye to these violations. However, I also hold the police and judiciary accountable for failing to prosecute and punish offenders effectively, which could serve as a deterrent. Our justice system operates at an unacceptably slow pace, and even when a case is won, enforcement often becomes an additional challenge. Excessive political interference exacerbates the problem, emboldening offenders to disregard rulings with impunity. At times, I can understand the frustration of those who feel compelled to take matters into their own hands.
