An English proverb states: The evil that men do, lives after them, the good is interred with their their bones.
So some people will say that I am not sympathetic towards the passing away of my aunt in-law Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.
I abhor the socioeconomic policies of my uncle John Jerry Rawlings. Rawlings want me to be arrested at the Kotoka International Airport on October, 30th 1983, the security services were there to effect my arrest, but I did not know what happened.
Two days later I was approached to become PNDC Deputy Regional Secretary, a post I without second thought refused.
On 30th November, 1983 I was together with some Ghanaians enplaned to Cuba to come and defend the 31st December Revolution.
Rawlings turn to IMF and World Bank was a move that broke the last straw in my back.
Whiles enplaned from Havana to Accra somewhere in May, 1984 I was campaigning against the Rawlings and PNCC uturn and betrayal of the Cadres of the 31st December Revolution.
I deserted the 31st December Devolution and made up my mind not to join any of the security services.
I was not alone. There were others who were also against Rawlings and PNDC uturn.
Commander Asase-Dzimah and other were on the Soviet Union Military Aircraft we boarded from Havana to Accra. To my surprise I was not arrested for anti-PNDC statements.
I was unemployed as a result from 1984 to 1985 when I joined the Civil Service still making all efforts that the PNDC was topple.
In 1991 some members of the CDRs requested me to join them in forcing John Jerry Rawlings and PNDC to step down and the country be returned to civilian rule.
I accepted the challenge and was appointed by the group the Chairman of the Concerned Caders Group of Ghana. I accomplished the task that was given to me and in 1992 we returned the country into a civilian government, but unfortunately the person who I hate as a leader, Jerry John Rawlings will still rule the country for another eight years.
I was one of the underground group that formed the Alliance for Change.
I was the one who provided security for demonstrators during the first Kume Preko in Accra.
My motto on that day was the Cropple Stone is the Weapon of the Proletariat.
Let the crople stones fly towards the CDRs who were armed to the teeth.
