How can minning goes on years on a particular forest without nobody especially the chief in that jurisdiction is neither questioned nor arrested. There is always someone who is behind. If you want to kill a snake, just cut the head off and the whole long body will die. After arresting the miners, severe investigation must go on to trace the owner of the land for further investigations. The root course must be destroyed with heavy sentence to desencourage others to follow that course.

Foreigners cannot come into Ghana and engage in criminal activities and when arrested they just get deported.
These deportations should not serve as an incentive for them to return and commit another crime.
Ghanaian institutions should wake up and enforce laws to deter criminalities.
