  Every institution has rules and regulations. For those who think that SHS students should be allowed to keep long hair why not also advocate that the wear anything to school either than a uniform.
  We must understand that education is in stages, from basic, junior, senior secondary to tertiary there are rules and srudents/pupils must abide. I think we just have some persons who are interested in destroying our educational system and children. I will not be surprise the next time some persons will be advocating that SHS students should be allowed to wear any kind of dresses to school.

  Elevating the discourse to the level of the Minister commenting on issues of long hair, short hair for me is misplaced.

  Provide the students and teachers with the necessary tools that will help improve the education of these students instead of imposing silly hair requirements on students. That Minister of Education can't produce any studies that show that students learn better when they're made to adhere to strict hair styles. Stop imposing senseless hair requirements on students.
