So people with hairs are unhygienic. Is there any scientific proof.
Hello youth of Ghana. You can take your own life with medicine......for instance 15 paracetamol at once. Or combine medicine and akpeteshie or weedicide
Who told this 'kentry' speaking man that our natural Afro hair which is our heritage cannot be kept clean? Leave the African child alone to decide whether to keep their bAfro hair or to cut it. This colonialist, imperialist ...

Natural or Artificial, hair doesn't keep itself clean. We as humans do have to keep our body and hair clean all the time.
We can't even get portable water to drink, why keep long African hair where you can't get clean water to wash your hair.
If you are a clean person you will do what you have to do to always be clean.
I can tell you are one of those dirty for a reason person.
Naive and ignorant talk..if a person is naturally dirty and unhygienic it won't matter how clean cut they are they will still be dirty. This guy in this picture is attributing long hair to bad hygiene and safety what a fool.. ...

@Nzema, your point no. 3 is completely out of the equation. No one is talking about using hair relaxers for hair perming. We're talking about our own natural African or Afro hair so there'll be no need for salons.

THANK YOU FOR EXPLAINING TO POLICY MAKERS WHO EVEN DON'T UNDERSTAND THE POLICY THEY ARE MAKING. JUST FOR HATE. NO EDUCATION
Are you normal? Be serious with your medication
Great one. I however think we cannot divulge hygiene and health from discipline. We need discipline to maintain good hygiene and health. When tutors checked fingernails and handkerchiefs, when they checked swept classrooms a ...

Funny Ghanaians
I have a question. Does this rule of short haircut for girls apply to white kids when they school in Ghana?
Even half cast are allowed to keep their long hairs . Why can't we extend that to black girls?
How many times have you seen those white students being boarding house students? My white classmates in Accra Academy in the 80s were all Day students .Our environment is too dusty to encourage long hair.
With all due respect, I'm really surprised Honorable Dr Adutwum is making such comparison with his school in the US .Here most High Schools are community based days Schools and parents can just keep their kids hairs clean
Man let's us tread with caution. This is not US or UK. With your mentality, we keep on copying everything from the whites which lead to where we are today, a society full of indiscipline all because human right forgetting tha ...

Listen to common sense Haruna
The way out is simple, if you want to keep your long hair, you can be a day student.
Anyway, I also want to keep long nails in school for safety and defense purpose, yes, like tiger claws, hahahaha
Hygiene and safety, well said, the same should directed towards making our cities clean and tidy in ghana....
Idiot and the most useless and stupid education minister in Ghana history part of the useless akufo-addo bawumia corrupt government
Is this guy really correct?
Is cleanliness not discipline? Where from this idiot character too? Gyemiiii
Keep quiet
Hygiene and safety are disciplinary issues
In most of the schools doing this, they allow the white kids who are in the schools to keep their long hair.
That is double standard. In out time the girls kept their hair and I never heard of any crime or incident befallen ...

May God bless Adutwum. This is pure wisdom, well explained. He has done far better than the whole ministry of Education. Far better in terms of the communication. Very clear and convincing
Exactly. Haruna is taking it as sharia law.
He’s right. Just like in the army when you bring people together in dormitories etc but not to enforce discipline
While you are at it, please do not forget about their pubic hair hygiene!
It also matters a lot!
is the schools now a fashion competition of hairs? ghanaians have a problem.
Mr Adutwum I will disagree with you on this issue because where you came from in the United States of America is rather different.Any student being a male or female can braid their hair to school. The situation in Ghana is no ...
