  Typical Ghanaian bad maintenance culture. VIP company is not investing that much in their workshops and mechanics. Drivers do not also go round the buses to check whether if there is are some signals b4 starting a journey. The whole company has a lackadaisical attitude towards the operation of their buses.

  Why always VIP coaches? Very poor maintenance culture, greedy owners and managers and poorly-trained drivers all contribute to the problems faced by the VIP company. This rarely happens to State Transport Coaches.

  I JOINED THIS VIP BUS FOR THE FIRST TIME FROM KUMASI TO ACCRA , SOMEWHERE MAY AND REALISED THE AC WAS NOT WORKING, HOWEVER THE GLASSES WERE LOCKED, SO ABOUT GETTING TO LINDA DIOR, I SHOUTED AT THE DRIVER FROM THE BACK SEAT ...

  I JOINED THIS VIP BUS FOR THE FIRST TIME FROM KUMASI TO ACCRA , SOMEWHERE MAY AND REALISED THE AC WAS NOT WORKING, HOWEVER THE GLASSES WERE LOCKED, SO ABOUT GETTING TO LINDA DIOR, I SHOUTED AT THE DRIVER FROM THE BACK SEAT , SUDDENLY HE STOPPED THE BUS AND REALISED THERE WAS SMOKE COMING FROM THE ENGINE.
  
  IMMEDIATELY I GOT DOWN I LOOKED FOR ANOTHER VEHICLE AND LEFT THE BUS WITH OTHER PAXS BEHIND.
  
  MOST OF THESE VIP BUSES ARE NOT ROAD WORTHY AND LACKED ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE.
  
  DVLA & GPRTU MUST CHECKED MOST OF THESE PRIVATE LONG JOURNEY BUSES, ELSE GHANA WILL LOOSE GREAT INTELLECTUALS .
  
  GET THEM OFF THE ROAD & RESOURCE THE STC

  Ghana fire is saying we engage in regular check ups to avoid similar happenings okay, but my worry is the grammar they are trained to say. The cause of the fire is under investigation and the result of the investigation never comes out and I believe it does not help matters because those of us who care can learn a lesson from it which will be beneficial to us.
