Rather the Honorable MP should be applauded for averting what would have been an ugly outcome.
The fact is the NAIMOS and the police were clueless on the rapid crowd gathering and anger against the detention of the suspects so as a leader he foresaw the immediate temporal release of the suspect as a way to calm tempers, which worked out well to bring tension down with no report of casualties or injuries. That's leadership. Now the police can now got and apprehend the suspects.

The alleged attack on the NAIMO personnel orchestrated by an NDC member of parliament is a disgrace to Ebenezer Addo which has tarnished the image of our president. If this MP who should be helping President Mahama in his efforts to fight galamsey will rather be attacking those who have been assigned to fight this crime , then he must be fired from parliament and the party . How can the President fight galamsey when his own MP’s are involved in this crime ? The IGP and the speaker of parliament must release the MP for prosecution.

The alleged attack on the NAIMO personnel orchestrated by an NDC member of parliament is a disgrace to Ebenezer Addo which has tarnished the image of our president. If this MP who should be helping President Mahama in his efforts to fight galamsey will rather be attacking those who have been assigned to fight this crime , then he must be fired from parliament and the party .
