Most awards in Ghana are mediocrity awards anyway. Everyone should know this. One party makes noise in opposition only to come and perpetuate what they had spoken against. And the judiciary enforces more laws on cell phone and goat thieves rather than prosecute and shame politicians. So awards are popularity contests as their aspirations tend to get lowered...nanka even Ghanaweb should say "...no we don't deserve this award of media excellence..." But read even the article they put up here and figure out with a cursory look at the site for just one week, at least, to see if critics have a reason or are merely hating...
