It is FALSE that radar coverage is Accra-Kumasi air space. How do you track international and local flights beyond Kumasi?
Some answers to the questions by the presenter is a little bit sketchy.

Here are some of the answers given by the presenter.
'.... radar is just Accra to Kumasi'. FALSE
'..... it is very easy for them to go off the radar. It is normal' YES
'..... flight monitoring is different from being on a radar'. YES but
see what equipment GCAA is currently using.

Ghana's air radar coverage has been significantly expanded, now covering the entire land area of the Accra Flight Information Region (FIR) and a 250 nautical mile oceanic area. This was achieved through the installation of new primary and secondary surveillance radars at Tamale and Accra, which are managed by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).

National Coverage: The new systems provide integrated radar data across the country's airspace, enhancing security and flight tracking.

Northern Ghana: A receiver was recently installed at Tamale Airport, which dramatically increased flight tracking data for northern Ghana compared to what was previously available from the area alone, according to Flightradar24 blog post.

Enhanced Capabilities: The upgrades are part of a broader effort by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) to improve aviation safety, including better aircraft identification and separation.

Flight monitoring
External tracking: This is the process of tracking an aircraft from the ground by air traffic control (ATC) or by external services like FlightRadar24.

Being on a radar in the air
Onboard systems: This refers to the systems a pilot uses to navigate and monitor their immediate surroundings, such as weather radar to avoid turbulence.
Traffic advisories: Pilots can also receive traffic advisories from ATC, which are messages about other aircraft in the vicinity, to help them maintain separation and prevent collisions.
Purpose: The purpose is for the pilot to have a real-time understanding of their local traffic situation to ensure safety.

Why fly an helicopter in a forest area when it was raining heavily ? Who pushed the pilots to take that decision and was the programme that necessary? To sum it John Dramani Mahama & NDC caused this accident.

if am related to any of the victims, I will reject this report entirely. It imcomplete and does not inform the ordinary Ghanaian about what actually happened.
