Well. There is always more behind numbers. Remember Mahama built a lot of generation capacity t that time and that definitely leads to costs and capital expenditure from ECG to match the new generation.
When we talk profit and loss depreciation is one factor and a massive increase in short lived assets would give you a loss but it does not mean ECG was performing badly.
The same way increase in revenue does not mean things are automatically good because costs could have gone up even more. But the fact they are able to pay under CWM suggests they have kept costs under wraps. Plus all those 1000s of containers at the port were incurring demurrage which no longer apply. No need to import a lot of things that were already overbought. So all things said, there is hope.
Don't forget we change govt so we get improvement. We should not compare current ndc to Mahama first time cos we brought in npp to improve things. So it's always best to use immediate past govt. Comparing ndc now to KUFFUOR time or even JJ time is silly

The biggest mistake Ghanaians will do will be to bring any NPP government to rule Ghana again. Mahama's government is managing Ghana far better than Akuffo-Addo's did. Akuffo-Addo's legacy is spending 100 million dollars to build the foundation of his Cathedral - a useless,unproductive project. He should be arrested and jailed for causing financial loss to the state.

In the previous government era, I was paying maximum GHC400 per month on the average but now I pay almost double 750+. I have not added any extra electrical appliances.
