Instead of concentrating on our Road Infrastructure, the NDC government wants to invite an Investor to establish a Ferry on the Ocean. Why do we need a Ferry on the Sea when we have Ships operating between the Gulf Coast?If we need a Ferry at all, it should be used in the Inland Rivers Like Yeji, where accidents are happening most of the time because of old Ferries operating on the Volta Lake.

The ships on our coasts are not for regional trade and they carry heavier and larger cargo. Ferries are very needed in every region. We should encourage it. I'd prefer Togo a ferrying macaroni Lagos and drive after landing than to go through the hustle of Aflao, Hila Konji and Badagry. I canbuy whatever I want to buy, leave it in my car, drive onto the ferry and off to Dakar or Freetown to selland return the next day. This is real integration.

This is definitely a game changer initiative. Block headed and uncivilized people like you won't see the benefits of such initiative. Small brains like yours can't understand the economic impact this can have on the West African enclave. Transporting of goods across west Africa can become easier and cheaper. Trade will be greatly improved because farmers, producers etc. will have access to expanded market within a day or two your goods can reach another west African country without going through the Strick shipping process if you were to use regular cargo shipping. I love this initiative very much. More power to the president.
