Last year there was a BBC expose which seems to show that Professor Gyampo harassed female students at Legon University in order to have sex with them and better their grades.
Investigations later found out that the expose was a fictitious thing and the matter was dropped.
The fact is that the state should have gone after the student who together with BBC made false allegations against Professor Gyampo.
But nothing like that happened. So I am at the lost when a person says that if Gyampo goes to court the women, not girls will come out to charge him for sexual harassment.
The fact is that a female who is 18 years old is no more a girl, but a woman.
It looks like in the case of our lawyers a person who has an allegation against him is guilty since there is an allegation.
The proper place to seek the truth in an allegation is the court.
So Professor Gyampo must take the issue to court, because he is not the president of Ghana that when an allegation is make against him he cannot take the one who defame his name to court.
It looks like BBC has not rendered an apology to John Dramani Mahama, having made and allegation that he took 5 Million Dollars from Airbus.
Airbus has come out to say that it did not pay anyone when it sold a number of planes to the Ghana Army.
However, BBC and several Ghanaian radio and tv stations did not come out to tell John Mahama that me culpa.
