For too long, there's been much talk about thievery and looting by crooked politicians but seldom any any prosecutions of such acts. That has encouraged many to loot while serving in government. This looting will be minimized when the government seriously pursues all looters through investigations and criminal prosecutions.

Once they are caught, their political party should disown them and let them face the music alone. By so doing, the next thief will think twice. But if we demonstrate and treat them as some kind of heroes the abhorrent and unpatriotic act will continue.

VOLTA REGION NEVER PRODUCED PRESIDENT FOR GHANA...Rawlings belonged to the East!!
The atrocities and bloodshed of J J Rawlings are associated with the Volta Region. His mother was resident in the Volta Region and integrated into the Ewe culture. But she was an Akwamu citizen in the Eastern Region.
Rawlings, in his latter days, stuck to Akufo-Addo. Their mothers were from the same Akwamu home. The same Abusua. Belonged to the same extended Akan family of the Eastern Region.
So, the Volta Region is yet to produce a President for Ghana. Kotoka missed it. Komla Gbedemah tried but failed. Who to follow?
Sedina Tamakloe is a blemish on Volta Region. Volta Region has Presidential Candidates. It is the Positioning and Presentation that count.
The Northern Regions have come from behind to give Hilla Limann and Mahama. Western Region had Kwame Nkrumah. Central Region offered Ata Mills. Bono Ahafo had Kofi Busua. Ashanti Regiom gave John Kufuor. Eastern Region produced Rawlings and 2 Akufo-Addo. Volta Region has none. Still waiting for one.
