Look, those pastors calling for more money to be spent on this expensive edifice on paper should tell us if they don't have a place of worship. If you care, will God leave his heavenly thrown to come down here and dwell in a building desecrated with corruption and sin? Will this cathedral not rather turn into a place like Sodom and Gomorrah? The cathedral is a secondary matter. The basic needs of the youths should first of all be satisfied before any other thing. The Christian Council should use its own funds to build its own National Cathedral at a location purchased with its own funds. The government should not waste tax payers' money on that Akufo-Addo sham religious project that was meant to take money away from putting up elementary school buildings and clinics for rural areas across Ghana. The NDC government can complete that sham cathedral, but that will be NDC's one-way ticket into opposition.
