The 2026 budget is a carefully laid out plan by the government to move this country forward. Contrary to the poor judgment by Davis Opoku, the budget is full of substance and must be commended. On the issue of slogans, it is the NPP administration that embarked on slogans during their regime. The NDC is not known to be thriving on slogans. The dwindling minority in Parliament have been held in a trance since their defeat in 2024. They have since resorted to making press conferences, embarking on meaningless demonstrations, criticising government for not concentrating on solving abominable problems the past administration had created. It is no surprise therefore to hear one of such group members describe the 2026 budget as full of slogans and without substance. Davis Opoku should be telling us why Ken Ofori-Attah is still at large.
