The company Bararu DV has already laid off 165 of its workers at Ewoyaa.
They can all re-apply to join the company again when the Govt agrees to the reduction of royalties from 10% to 5%.They are not joking.

NDC condemned the agreement that had 10% royalty for the state because they said we had b33n shortchanged. Now we have 5%, and NDC doesn't see anything wrong with it. No wonder, he was the one who said President Kuffour has done nothing by reducing inflation rate from 45% during President Rawlings time to 15% for we don't eat inflation rate. The same Kwesi, when President Mills brought it farther down to 9% and Ghanaians were still complaining, said Ghanaians are ungrateful for what do they want President Mills to do, after all he has done well by bringing it down to 9%. Kwesi for you, now inflation rate has become food.
