I travel to Togo recently through a border post in Hohoe municipality. The immigration officers were collecting 10 and 20 cedis depending on your appearance with no regard to passport or Ghana card. I want to know if this services publish their accounts annually as other organizations. Police are always taking money from drivers and no one knows where the money goes.

Why is it that whenever there is an issue, management takes decision against junior officers and always let go the senior officers who are always at fault.This DCO1 got to the check point and wanted to pee at a particular place very close to where the young officers sit and perform duties on behalf of the service. This DCO1 was directed not to do it there but rather moved and do it at where it will not disturb them. This man got furious and started questioning the young officers if they know the person they were dealing with. The senior officer, instead of taking his time to talk or identify himself was so annoy and began threatening the young officers. I am not supporting entirely what the young officers did but sometimes we must also show some concern and think of their lives too. How many senior officers have been killed in the cause of performing duties?but look at the number of young officers who have fell victims in recent times. Senior officers please behave as such when you meet the young ones who are feeding you. Please call them back immediately. They were not at fault. May be they could be suspended from going to the barrier but interdiction deɛ Wofa Basintale, ano yɛ hye dodo. Baraka baraka baraka!
