Even the few Ahmadi schools around have the same rules that you seek to dismantle in Christian schools. What is it at all are you people looking for?

There is more than enough taxes being paid by people belonging to the same faith as these good schools with some remaining to cover Sunni Moslem schools, IF THERE ARE ANY SUCH SCHOOLS. Just because my taxes are mixed with yours does not mean that you own any assets of mine that receive a government transfer. Do you own the private companies that have received tax concessions?

That can`t be acceptable to any peace-loving mind! The way Muslims pray and fast is different from Christians; therefore, these two doctrines can`t coexist in a mission school, whether it's a Christian or Muslim school... charity begins at home. So, the children's peace and environment, as well as the atmosphere, should come first, not just the right to pray and fast ->>> Muslim Conference!!!

At the end, the right of the Ghanaian children to interact and grow together irrespective of their ethnicity or religious background will be raised high. Reasonable tolerance will win.

It will also be dangerous to elect someone like Bawumia to come and make matters worse for christians. Mission schools receiving funding from the government doesn’t mean they cannot operate by their own rules and standards. Those schools were doing well before the government comes in to take charge. Some of those schools resisted to be under the government authority. The mission schools can do better without the government support. It doesn’t really make sense to allow some students to cover their head and look completely different from others. Some of these Muslim students even attempted to cover all their faces to look like terrorists. How holy are they? We have seen them and what they do in the communities they live in and it’s nothing pleasant.

Look at the composition of the parliament of Ghana. Look at the appointments of president Mahama. Not only his ministers but almost all MCEs and DCEs in the country are Muslims/ Northerners. Why should this be the case? Are they the most educated? And this was the same person who together with his party were shouting that Nana Addo's was family and friends government. The first project Mahama decided to do for Ghana after winning the elections was to build hostels at Accra airport to cater for Muslim pilgrims to Mecca, which is ongoing. But unfortunately some senseless Christian leaders teamed up with Mahama and his NDC to demonise Nana Addo for attempting to build a Christian Cathedral. When are Christians going to be a bit clever? When are they going to request government to subsidise for them too to go on a pilgrimage in Jerusalem and Rome? Hijab must be banned at Church owned Christian schools in Ghana; period. It's enough.

But when this issue came he said school has no right. My question is, is it because he is a Muslim? The so called Christian don't read the Bible and the understanding of the Holy Spirit. According to the Bible teachings a woman should not cut her hair, because the hair is her glory. (1 corinthians 11:1-15) and it also said a woman should not put on dress like a man and man also not like a woman. (Deuteronomy 22:5). Now what do we see in the so called Christian Churches? I have always asked this question, at what time do we see someone is Man or woman? Is it at birth? If so from that time that woman should not cut hair or put no anything like a man. The Same as a man. What if a Budhist also comes and says he wants the right to pray in these Missions school? Then the ECKANKA and the likes. What if our traditional worshippers also come and tell us they want to pour libation as a means of prayer to their gods? What could be the response from these Missions schools? Let it be known to all that some of these Missions schools have been in existence for over 100 years and have existed way without any support of the government. These schools have a particular culture of their faith to protect and that must never be compromised.

I think our Muslim brothers have bitten more than they could chew. Why did they decide to go to the Supreme Court in the first place?

Again, if the Chief Imam goes to the Pope to celebrate his birthday, that is not in any way an indication that the Missions should compromised on their long held practice of protecting their faith in their schools. Not at all.

If they want the space to practice their belief in freedom they should go to their schools. These Missions schools were established for a purpose and that must be protected at all cost.

God bless our fathers (Catholic priests and the Christian Council) for standing up on this matter. The entire Christian population is solidly behind you.

I have worked with people of all faith. Nobody who deprives himself or herself of food and water can work with all alertness.
Ask those in the construction sector, if they get the best of their labors during fasting periods?
Some easily gets angry during such times.
Please for the short time that they are in the boarding school, let’s allow them to follow the school principles.

The Presbyterian congregation in my village were frantically raising funds on Sunday to support the Presbyterian schools there. And it goes on constantly throughout the year.

I attended a Catholic school called Bishop Herman College in the 1970s. I shared a cubicle in my House with a Muslim called Salisu. His brother Sanusi was in another House on campus. Salifu never attended Mass nor prayed together with the rest of us every morning and evening. They concentrated on their mission and completed the school without any problem. You see, these two never put on any long dresses for prayers. Salifu sometimes would pray in the dormitory. They obeyed the principles and code of conduct for students. Please, let us not head for trouble. Let us discuss what we want with the owners of these institutions. Perhaps, the peace we collectively enjoy shall be maintained that way. The issue of our Muslim schools grants outsiders their wish is not the case. If you go to a country where the inhabitants walk on one leg, I think it will be wise to do same. After all, we preach tolerance, right? How long will your child study in that environment? How long?

Will the Muslims schools serve pork if Christian students request to add that to their meals chart? The minority Muslims in Ghana have been allowed to gradually take over the country.

Look at the appointments of president Mahama. Not only his ministers but almost all MCEs and DCEs in the country are Muslims/ Northerners. Why should this be the case? Are they the most educated? And this was the same person who together with his party were shouting that Nana Addo's was family and friends government.

The first project Mahama decided to do for Ghana after winning the elections was to build hostels at Accra airport to cater for Muslim pilgrims to Mecca, which is ongoing. But unfortunately some senseless Christian leaders teamed up with Mahama and his NDC to demonise Nana Addo for attempting to build a Christian Cathedral.

When are Christians going to be a bit clever? When are they going to request government to subsidise for them too to go on a pilgrimage in Jerusalem and Rome? Hijab must be banned at Church owned Christian schools in Ghana; period. Enough of this pampering and nonsense.
