Since Akufo Addo took over the leadership of the party he has driven away or sidelined all the intelligent people in the party and seen to it that anybody who holds a position in the party is stupid, so that the Akyem Mafia will control them. These defuct party executives have specialised in accusing others for crimes they, the NPP, had committed whilst in power. They are now a spent force. Though they have clearly refused to hibernate after Ghanaians had sent them sprawling onto the canvass, their relevance is questionable as what they do is to lie against the government. Some, even in their right senses today, say the NDC is incompetent. I wonder how they describe themselves today. Look, this is a distractive tactic that the loser often employs. For me, this group is the most miserable I've ever seen in my life. Long after the battle is over, they are still cladded in their war regalia and rolling like empty barrels down the hill instead of joining hands to rebuild what they looted, raped and misused. This definitely is not the kind of opposition we want. Hibernation is what they need now. Its not even one year ago. Dissolving into a state of comatose and coming back after forty years might help them. They may only have to change their identity into something else and perhaps, the future generation might not remember them. Metamorphosing from an elephant into a squirrel or worse, a mole, might do the trick.
