Because nothing was quoted, my question is directed to the writer of this article aka journalist. Are you saying those who earn GHC10,000 spend 4,200 on food? What are they eating? Where from this mathematics/research?
Nonsense is actually 70% on food. 20% on Transport. 10% for personal needs. Without connection at work place we can't survive oo Charle!

So far three things are draining the income of workers in Ghana -electricity, transportation and food.
Affordability is the name. That food is too much for someone and just enough for another. So the generalisation is just not fair.
