More than half the population is morally bankrupt, corrupt and greedy. You shouldn't expect differently when you elect leaders who are a reflection of the community they come from. It is also a fallacy that because of their discipline and patriotism, the military is in the best position to serve the country without looting it. Soldiers are just as corrupt as civilian elected leaders, only that they hide behind their military training to enrich themselves.

It makes no sense in Ghana to talk about changes to presidential term of office when Ghana has not as yet implemented the Constitutional Clause which empowers the citizens in every District/Constituency to choose and elect their own District Chief Executive/Municipal Chief Executive.

Ghana cannot brush aside The Power to the People.
After electing their choices of representatives to the District Assemblies (DCE/MCE) then the people shall decide if it is worth amending the terms of office of the elected officials.

The soldiers in Benin stated reasons for the coup was that they have suffered losses in their fight against the rebels.
