In China, if someone becomes pregnant and delivers a baby, that baby remains a prisoner for as long as the mother remains in Prison. If a baby’s mother is sentenced into Prison for life in China, that baby automatically becomes Sentenced for life imprisonment and can only be released when the mother dies and there is somebody to take care of the baby. This doesn’t happen

The only way to stop these evil bastards from coming to Ghana and polluting rivers is start sentencing them to prison for at least forty years. That will act as a good deterrent against other Chinese wanting to coming to Ghana engage in galamsey. The government has been too soft on these Chinese bandits who break mining laws while polluting rivers and contaminating lands with their evil galamsey operations. The gold that they mine ends up being shipped to China tax free while Ghana communities are left with severely polluted rivers and contaminated lands. Arresting these criminals by itself doesn't discourage other Chinese or any other persons from engaging ion galamsey; stiff prison sentences is what is needed to to put fear in people who may be contemplating getting into the galamsey business.
