And Ghana was slapped with 15 percent tariffs and visa restrictions. The government had to agree to betray our fellow West Africans to reverse those measures by the USA.

Across the continent, many Africans still reflexively believe:

* the white man is superior,
* Western nations must be obeyed,
* and African governments must “behave” to avoid upsetting foreign interests.

This mindset did not appear suddenly; it was engineered through centuries of colonial pedagogy, missionary indoctrination, cultural erasure, and enforced dependency. Africans were trained—explicitly and implicitly—to see themselves as **subordinates** in the global hierarchy.

So even today, when a white nation mistreats an African, some of us instinctively ask, *“What did we do wrong?”*
But when Africans defend themselves, suddenly the same voices shout, *“Be careful! Don’t anger them!”*

This is not caution.
This is **mental slavery**.

## **2. Confusion Between Israel, Christianity, and African Identity**

Another striking theme in the comments is the deeply rooted belief that defending Israel is the same as defending Christianity.

Yet **Israel is not a Christian nation**, and Israelis are not “white angels from the Bible.” The modern State of Israel is a secular nation-state with Jewish identity at its core—not a Christian theocracy, not the land of European missionaries, and not the embodiment of Christianity Ghanaian churches imagine.

But due to the way Christianity arrived in Africa—blended with colonial narratives and unquestioned biblical literalism—many Africans believe that:

* Israel occupies a special divine status,
* Criticizing Israel is criticizing God,
* Supporting Israel is a Christian duty.

This confusion leads Africans to defend Israel with more passion than Israelis defend themselves—**a psychological extension of colonial religious conditioning**.

## **3. The Ongoing Chains of Mental Slavery**

Mental slavery is not only believing you are inferior; it is believing others are inherently superior.

This slavery shows itself in the comments:

* some Ghanaians warning that Israel cannot be challenged,
* others attacking their own government for defending Ghanaian citizens,
* and many reducing themselves to mere servants of foreign interests.

Kwame Nkrumah warned that the final battle of African liberation would be **psychological**. He knew that independence without mental emancipation becomes a hollow victory.

Africa cannot rise on its knees.

**Ghana has the right to defend its citizens. Africa has the right to demand respect.**

No foreign nation—white or non-white—is above accountability.
No African nation is too small to stand tall.

Until Africans stop worshipping whiteness, misinterpreting Israel’s identity, and defending foreign power over their own people, mental slavery will continue to thrive.

Ghanaians are getting deported all round the world with absolutely no cause means, purely because they are from a poor country, we should deport citizens of any country that deport Ghanaians back to Ghana with no cause means, exact treatment, then we will be respected as humans and not animals.

ONE LAST POINT. Ghana has enough problems of its own. Our best policy should be to avoid taking sides and focus on our own problems. We must fiercely resist being pulled in one direction or the other because our Nation is a Multifaith state.

Ghanaians living there need to be aware of this. Even if the Middle Eastern country you are currently residing in does not become directly involved to start with, once there is an outbreak of major war it may become virtually impossible to escape safely from the region. Ghanaians living there need to factor this in their planning. Make sure you have reserves of cash OUTSIDE of the region.
