  The week should rather be called “Accelerated sanitation and no-burning week”. Sanitation and clean air campaigns must be a daily affair, not just something done in a selected week. In any case I hope this week does not end up as “intensified air pollution week”. I’m afraid we would burn the borla to be collected during the week and end up damaging public health more.   Stop this nonsense of declaring sanitation days/weeks, etc. As a government you should rather aspire to educate citizens to practice good sanitation every day through out the year. children should be thought from Kindergarten level not to litter around but rather use the dustbins for their trash. The problem with us in Ghana is that we have leaders who cannot think outside the box. Go to Ethiopia and see the transformation occuring there and what good leadership can accomplish within a short period of time.
