This raises an important question: are there no competent judges in Ghana capable of handling such matters? Why should Ghana allow foreign governments to enter our jurisdiction, seize our citizens, and publicly disgrace both the individuals and the nation on the international stage?
It appears that Ghana is being taken advantage of in these situations. Such actions would never occur in countries where the rule of law is firmly upheld—certainly not in Russia, Armenia, or even our close neighbor, Nigeria. It is disheartening to see Ghana consistently surrender its citizens instead of asserting its sovereignty. If any Ghanaian citizen has committed an offense, they should be tried and judged in Ghana under our own legal system. We must protect the dignity of our nation and the integrity of our judicial institutions.

This aligns with the legal due process observed in nations where the rule of law is truly upheld.
Under no circumstances should foreign agents be permitted to enter Ghana to arrest its citizens. Such actions are not only inappropriate but also deeply undermine national dignity and sovereignty. Ghana deserves respect on the global stage, and that respect comes from consistently defending the principles of justice and legal independence. The current one-sided approach to extradition must be brought to an end to preserve the integrity of our nation and the confidence of our people.
