Several thousands including fish mongers,traders and fishermen have benefited from his Soft Loans. These are all issues that was the responsibility of the state to do, but this young man has taken it upon himself. How many MPs in Volta and the Northern in NDC can perform as well as Afenyo Markins?

At Bradford University he (where some of us know very well) did Masters of Art in International Politics and Security Studies and was only allowed to do not more than 25 hours a week then suddenly goes back to Ghana within a few years and he is already a millionaire or billionaire at this age. If not stolen money where has he gotten this disproportionate wealth. To many this means he could only have gotten his wealth by fowl means. No doubt he is so vociferous with rhetorics and bluffs and making parliamentary proceedings unpalatable for his colleagues and even viewers all the world around.
Always talking ‘out of beat’ trying to be impressive.

I prefer those who have done their law degrees and masters in Ghana, Legon.
The masters degree in Ghana is always 2years whereas masters degrees in Bradford and elsewhere in the UK is a year or some times few months less than a year.
People like Afenyo-Makin are only using the big names like UK universities etc to intimidate colleague lawyers in Ghana. They are not better than the Ghana trained lawyers.

Suffice to say that Afenyo is a leading factor to the woes of the struggling micro minority in parliament and to a large extent the NPP.
A Leader must be diplomatic and firm; we don’t see that in Afenyo. He doesn’t have an iota of diplomacy in his style of leading and negotiating. He’s resorted to the use of force and intimidation and always want to project himself. His parochial interest is hurting the once strong NPP.
It’s undeniably true that the NPP started falling apart upon his assumption of leadership. We all saw Osei-Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, his demeanor alone tells you who a good leader is.
We have not seen that in Afenyo, who has resorted to countless press conferences and walk outs when he should be leading his cohorts to have their voices heard.
Again, leadership at the national level is contributing to the woes of the NPP. It appears they’re pushing for incompetence and justifying wrongs under the cover of political intimidation.
