The Ewes retreated to Mount Gemi at Amedzofe in the Volta Region and rolled down boulders that eliminated a major portion of expansionist Ashanti warriors. That night, the ashantis retreated quietly back home to ashanti. Some didn't go back. The ewes gave them land to stay. That's why we have the abandoned people in voltage.
You must also note that, the current voltage, oti, all the way to Bawku, including some eastern parts of the eastern region just after crossing the Adomi bridge, were all parts of transvolta togoland and hence the original Togoland which was divided between the British and the French. So where does the ashanti kingdom come in here. False historians creating their own ashanti history

Secondly, the date given 1620s the people left Kuntunase when did they settled at the new home Worawora? Between 1872-1876 Asantes were sent to punish the southern states which includes northern volta led by their General Aduboufor. During this sojourn the Asantes soldiers lived with the people of Akpafu which is miles away from Worawora. Why were they not asked to live among their people but were sent to live Akpafus ?
Though Akpafus had contact with the Asantes in Kumawu they are not Asantes but Guans
