The United States will find it very hard to refuse the request as it will be an act of reciprocity on their part. A lack of further cooperation on our part for future extraditions to the United States will make it difficult for them to refuse this request.

Afterall, Sedinam Tamakloe has already been long convicted by the courts in Ghana. Interestingly, Sedinam Tamakloe and Ken Ofori-Atta are both living in the US. The A-G should avoid fuelling the perception that John Mahama and the NDC are pursuing selective justice. That isn't helpful for our democracy and the fight against public corruption.
