Another example most people bring up is the conviction of Victor Salormey in the quality grain case. But all evidence pointed to the fact that he and others took portions of the money for that project and bank statements proved it.
Victor Salormey was also waiting in prison for presidential pardon or NDC to come back to power.

What does "sentence with hard labour" means? Does it mean that the prisoner will be forced to do some hard labour like what? It used to be in the 50s that prisoners come out to chop wood. Politicians must do well to upgrade Ghanaian prisons to respect prisoners' human rights because they are likely to end up in prison for their corrupt practices. Not everyone is prison must have committed the crime.

Mr. Ofori-Attah's situation could be looked to weigh more because we really do not know the truth of what financial loss he might have caused to the nation. But whatever the case, he owes it to the nation to answer some of these questions. I would wish, he shows up quickly to avoid his name being dragged in the mud.
