Where are the all-knowing but unprincipled loud-mouth publicity seeking wannabe politicians who talk about our courts, fairness in sentencing guidelines and proportionality when its political crimes whilst they ignore the unjust application of the law against the poor?

I cannot explain why the overall moral compass of Ghana has fallen victim to the political moral bankruptcy of our time. For unexplained reasons, our courts adhere to sentencing guidelines and individual moral outrage when the poor in society commit crimes that affect an individual and by extension the family of the victim but the courts are hesitant at all times imposing corresponding stricter sentences on white collar criminals.

So here we are with sentencing someone to a 2-year term for selling a stolen item that is presumed to be valued at Ghc 2400 while the same criminal justice of the land is morally neutered from showing same outrage when Akufo-Addo era NPP thugs and security agency headed by clowns kill 8 people and maim countless others and by extension render families to slow death by a thousand inhumane ways.

Today, the head of the security agencies that oversaw the killing of the innocent at polling stations shamelessly and unrepentantly seek to be flag-bearer of the NPP party while the nation's so-called justice system look the other way.
