If we continue to limit the periods of governance for rare capable politicians like the one in power now, it only goes, by default, to give equal opportunity to the Akuffo Addo type of pretenders and kleptomaniacs to sneak into the fray to massively loot the state for four or five years or double that period. Prempeh claims that the committee did not recieve any demands or requests for third term Presidents? Of course they wouldn't, would they? Indeed nobody who has the genuine interest for the rapid development of the nation at heart, would even bother contacting such characters for any purpose.

He killed people, and collapsed private businesses and State Owned Enterprises for nothing.

Let’s focus on depoliticising state institutions and rather strengthen them with competent and experienced leadership and with the requisite resources. Let’s also avoid nepotism, sycophancy and hypocrisy, and allow the laws to work without fear or favour and Ghana will be fine with just a four term of government.
