HE NEVER WANTED TO COME IN THE FIRST PLACE. DEAL WITH IT.
This should have been a regular gesture. For forty plus years without the opportunity to visit the country of the employer is not good enough.

In the 80's all the Embassy drivers were Indians and Sri Lankas. I remember one Ghanaian staged a protest in front of the Embassy before getting hired. I miss my youthful days in France. My city was Troyes

What about Ghanaian teachers in Accra who has worked over 40yrs but cannot afford to travel to their hometowns. They deserve a free all expense paid trip to their hometowns once in their lifetime!
Abrakwa, I want to know the age of this man now and the age when he joined the Ghana embassy.
He was only 18 years old when he was recruited to replace his father who served the embassy as a driver and later died. It is an award by the Minister for consistent and dedicated long service to the Republic of Ghana.
