It’s up to human beings to choose to become acquainted with His word and live fulfilled and blessed lives or go their own way inevitably leading to disaster.

In other words the time frame for the World Cup will be shifted to come on at a later date. Which similarly means when the World Cup comes on at a later date Ghana will participate and therefore do well to go to the final.
There is no ambiguity or incongruous state of the statement.
