Banking on the clean facts provided by Sammy Gyamfi, Ghanaians should now finally begin to understand why the nation should keep away from the IMF and its shenanigans. Historically, the IMF has never been successful in advising any of its numerous members around the world, into a state of prosperity. On the other hand, it has created and caused widescale endemic poverty in previously distressed nations. How the IMF can continue to exist yet, they recommend the shutting down of institutions in other countries for alleged non-performance, is mind-boggling.

The worse than poor auditing of the state of Ghanas GoldBod by the IMF, is a clear testament to their incompetence and one more reason why we should disassociate our economy from their sickening neocolonial game plans.

You don't know better than the IMF Officials which includes prominent Ghanaian economists.

You claim Goldbod made GHc960m Old Cedis turnover or whtever. GHc960m is the equivalent of $91.6m dollars (GHc1= USD0.0954524). So your maths do not add up because in effect you have made a loss of USD123m on Goldbods Operations.

So why is the taxpayer subsiding these losses for this amount in addition to the destruction of our environment. What is the benefit we getting from this.

Nobenefit soever. Subsidisng a loss making venture and also destroying our environment at the same time.

At the current exchange rate, the $214m dollar loss is more than Ghc2.2 billion (Ghana cedis). So, your Ghc960 revenue does not cover the Ghc2.2 billion loss.

If Goldbod nets out its draw of $214m (direct or indirect) from BOG, there will be no financial surplus as claimed by ignorant Sammy. Goldbod actually has a loss in its operations.

And Sammy, throwing insults will not change the loss position of your transactions in the past year, and the IMF could not be bothered by your infantile rationalization.

Are we as Ghanaians surprised by your poor performance, NO! You were appointed based on politics and not on your financial training or experience.
