Theologically, salvation has always been through the same person—Jesus Christ—but experienced in different ways across time.
Forward-Looking Faith: People in the Old Testament were saved by faith in God's promise of a coming Messiah. Just as modern believers look back at the cross, they looked forward to it.
Shadows and Patterns: Rituals like animal sacrifices were "shadows" of Christ’s final sacrifice (Hebrews 10:1). They did not actually remove sin but pointed to the one who would.
Same Source: In Romans 4:3, Paul explains that Abraham was saved by faith, not works. This faith was credited as righteousness because it rested on God’s eventual provision of a Savior.
2. Biblical Arguments for Jesus as the Savior
The Bible presents Jesus as the unique and necessary means of salvation for all of humanity.
Direct Claims: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).
No Other Name: "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

Again you play Leeds United who are 16th on the league table and struggle to win. When you meet top 10 teams then you will definitely loose. Out of 20 matches, Amorim won only 8, drew 7 and lost 5. Only 31 out of a possible 60 points was brought home.
