  If the story is true, the journalist can sue those officials for hundreds of thousands of Cedis. The officials have to be imprisoned after being fired. When can some Ghanaian officials know how to behave responsibly. This is not the Efo Julor Jeremiah Rawlings’ era when Military Personnel saw themselves as above the law. When women were treated inappropriately and inhumanly by irate and drugged Military Officers at the various Military Barracks and public places. Just fire them and jail them. When they come out of Prison, they shall join the Unemployed queue and foolishly complain of unemployment. If found guilty, please let them enjoy some time in Prison.

  Somehow, if the guy happens to be a 'too known' asshole, like most Ghanaian 'journalists' usually are, interfering with the Fire Service officers' official duties, what will you suggest? How many times have we not seen some so called journalists shoving their phones and cameras in the face of officials trying to do their job. If the officials get hurt, do the 'media' houses pay the bill or even reprimand their employees? What we need is a media with some sense of responsibility and liability for its actions just as we expect from our officials.

  Fire service leadership should train personnel on stress management which require high discipline and patience
  As for the press there is a lot for Dwumfour and his men to do as most of them are always interested in negative issues
  Now we are talking abt other issues while the fire has been relegated into the background and how do we move forward
