It's very unfortunate. May he get well soon
Somehow there is an ACL open season on BS players. Over to you Jerome Opoku. We can also bring in Patric Pfeiffer, right-footed.
What is the essence of organizing these tournaments afcon and the world cup and will not be shown to the people as before but on dstv, the aim of organizing afcon and the world cup is to unite the people why not let them enj ...

He needs to talk to Fatawu. He came back pretty quick, otherwise time may not be on his side.
They should get Samba of kotoko to naturalized for Ghana. That guy is even better than Salisu

Charlie look deep into the local league . You will find his caliber there
He is touring Europe and has no time for the local league. Just visited Kudus. Taxpayer's money being wantonly wasted.
Does any one think Otto has the pedigree to make things happen at the world cup?

@ Aduanaba
You just hate Otto Addo and feels this is a nice opportunity to attack him. What role has he played in the collapse of local football? Are you happy with the performance of GFA & Ministry of Sports?
I don't think you're interested in local football for you to make that comment
This type of news would never worry countries like Morocco, Senegal or Ivory Coast. Why bcoz they have a lot of football academies producing many talents.Their European pool is also excellent. For Ghana none, there is no produc ...

But his goal scoring ability with the head will have helped the black stars indeed
I totally agree
Every player has their strengths and he has that ability but remember defense is the main responsibility
Would he even play at his best?I doubt it.He only started playing sincerely when one journalist questioned his loyalty to the team after Ivory Coast debacle. He may be more negative to the team.Exceptthat most Ghanaians seem t ...

Masa, his presence will not bring anything positive. The current black stars players are not doing the nation any good. I wish the country uses only local players in one of these tournaments. Just watch the performance of les ...

Nonsense, you compare BS to these teams? What have they won? They use local players because that's all they got. BS has attempted to bring in local players. They do not measure up.
Sad for him.
I remember this chap had to be begged to join the national team when he was in his best form. Now he is just an average player so we can only be at pains for being injured because of his career but not a loss to ...

Salisu was one of our best defenders in the WC qualifiers!!
Why is Ghanaweb referring to Alexander Djiku as a backup? He is no backup as he and Salisu are in our starting lineup if there are no injuries.
Not only that, Salisu is left footed Djiku is right footed.
I wish Salisu a speedy recovery !!! It is going to hurt us missing you in the WC.
I wish him soonest recovery.
But this may turn out a blessing in disguise for BS. I think there are better better defenders in the BS than Salisu e.g. Jonas Adjetey
Adjetey is good but we needed Sailus’s experience and leadership. Hopefully Jerome Opoku will step up . I don’t think we will miss Susu so much though because central defense is not a a problem for us. The unique thing ab ...

Wish you speedy recovery. Time to look for a proper centre back, Otto. But please not Joseph Aidoo please.
We already have useless Alidu and gideon.
